Topic: " Fundamentals of Room Air Distribution "
This talk focuses on room air distribution principles for mixed air systems, fully stratified, and partially stratified systems. Discussion covers jet theory, room air induction, defines occupied zone, effective draft temperature, and reviews interpretation of data obtained per ASHRAE standard 70. Also covered are selection methods including sound, throw, and Air Diffuser Performance Index (ADPI).
