News Events and More:
August 7-9, 2008: Region VII CRC in Memphis. 3 days for fun and excitement! “Elvis – here we come”. Thursday is Technical Conference. Friday/Sat business. Ends Sat afternoon. Transportation covered for delegate, alternate, and ALL 4 elected grass roots. (MP, RP, CTTC, SA)
May 3-4, 2008: YEA (Young Engineers in ASHRAE) Workshop in Atlanta. Contact Ken Peet or Kelley McVay for more information. Region can cover some of their travel expenses.
May 17, 2008: Nashville, TN - Incoming Presidents Training. All Incoming Chapter and Section Presidents are expected to attend this one day class (8-4 Central Time). Transportation is paid. So is lunch. Chapter VP are welcome to attend at their own expense.
June 21-25, 2008: Summer ASHRAE Meeting in SLC. Technical session and national committee meetings. Regional elected positions expected to attend. Others invited.
July 18–20, 2008: Regional Planning - Clanton, AL (Jackins “Cabin”) – Regional Officers expected, Chapter Presidents optional - invited at their own expense. Meals free.
July 26, 2008: Regional Research Promotion Training Workshop – Chicago. Chapter RP Chairs expected. Transportation paid.
March 7, 2007: Region VII members receive awards from Society Award presentations will take place at the Society’s Annual Meeting in Long Beach, California, during the Plenary Session on Saturday, June 23, 2007. Congratulations to all!
